Tanjung
Kapal Services Sdn. Bhd. (TKS) was incorporated on 17
September 1994 under the Company's Act 1965. Beginning
January 2005 TKS started its recruitment of personnel
to develop its International Safety Management (ISM)
certification and also to manage the construction of
the company's vessels at Muhibbah Marine Engineering
(MME) Shipyard, Port Kelang and MSET Shipbuilding Shipyard,
Kuala Terengganu. In accordance with ISM requirements,
the company obtained its Interim Document of Compliance
(DOC) Certification from the Malaysian Marine Department
in 2005 and a full DOC in April 2006. Simultaneously
TKS also obtained the Safety Management Certificates
(SMC) for its vessels from the American Bureau of Shipping
in 2006. |
